Happy Mother's Day

I know it's a day late, but i still wanted to wish you ladies a blessed day! I made a promise to myself to blog everyday from now on. I've had requests to post samples and instructions, that too shall follow. There are so many of you I wanted to make a card for, but didn't get a chance to. So here's a card to all the Mother's who I know.

Class Policies

Policy for Classes & Clubs

Due to No-Shows and other logistical problems, we have revised our participation policy for all  of our classes generally and for our club members as follows:

 How do I sign up for classes?

All classes require pre-payment to reserve a seat. you can sign up in the store or call us @ 242-356-6747. Classes fill up fast so book early.

What do I need to bring to Class?

Here is a basic supply list:
Paper Trimmer
Scissors
Wet Adhesive (liquid Glue)
Dry Adhesive (Tape)
Pop up dots, Glue Dots
Corner Rounder
Exacto Knife
Some classes require specific supplies, that list will be provided at the time of registration.

What If I Have To Cancel a Class I'm signed Up for?

  • If a student cancels 24 hours prior to class time, they can transfer the amount to another class or take that amount in a store credit. 
  • If a student cancels within the 24 hour class schedule, they can either choose to take the class kit with basic materials and make it on their own schedule or 50% of the class fee will be issued in a store credit.
  • If a student doesn't show up for a scheduled class, the basic kit will be kept for 1 week. Additionally, some class kits may not include teacher's instructions and some supplies may be omitted.
What happens If The Scrapbook Cottage Cancels a Class?

  • If the store has to cancel a class due to an emergency, the student can choose between either a FULL refund, transfer the full amount to another class or receive a store credit.
  • All attempts will be made to contact each student as soon as the situation arises, so please make certain that The Scrapbook Cottage has your daytime contact in it's system.
Club Members

when persons join any of our clubs, they are expected to attend the associated class as materials have been ordered and lots of preparation made on their behalf. When they fail to show up for classes this results for the most part in a waste of time and materials, therefore, the following conditions will now apply-
  • When joining a club, members will have to complete and sign a terms of agreement form.
  • Classes must be paid in full in advance or commitment to attend guaranteed with a valid credit card which will only be billed at the time of class.
  • if the club member can not attend, a class kit will be prepared which can be collected and may be completed on their own.
